Employment Litigation and Arbitration
Maynard Nexsen’s team of lawyers regularly defends management in virtually all types of employment litigation and arbitration and tries cases in both state and federal courts and before arbitrators in employment claims including:

Administrative Litigation and Practice
In addition to the traditional employment litigation practice, the Firm’s Employment and Labor attorneys regularly represent employers in administrative proceedings before various federal and state agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Mine Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Labor, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, and the Department of Industrial Relations.
Preventive and Compliance Counseling
Maynard Nexsen’s Employment and Labor Practice offers a variety of preventive counseling and compliance assistance. Overview
Maynard Nexsen’s employment law certificate series is Bringing Clarity to Workplace Complexity in 2024. This has become the go-to employment law certification series for professionals throughout the Carolinas interested in staying up to speed on the latest issues and trends in labor and employment law. Sessions will be held in webinar format through WebEx. Upon completion of each course, certificates will be issued to registrants who participated. North Carolina and South Carolina CLE & SHRM credits are pending.
