Associate - Managed Care | Office Locations Flexible
Maynard Nexsen’s managed care litigation practice group is looking for an experienced associate to join its national practice, which spans the following jurisdictions: Alabama, California, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas.
Candidate must have four to seven years of general litigation and/or arbitration experience, including brief writing, legal research and analysis, and oral argument. A background in managed care is required, including experience with provider contract and billing disputes, medical necessity, level of care, and coordination of benefits, as well as out of network payor provider litigation.
Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to the field, strong communication and interpersonal skills, a desire to assume immediate responsibility for matters and experience in a law firm. Candidate should be motivated, personable, articulate and able to collaborate. The practice group offers excellent prospects for proactive lawyers.
Strong academic credentials and writing skills are required. Preferred law school experience includes law clerk internships, moot court or law review/journal.
A bar license in at least one of the following states is preferred: California, Texas or Florida. The physical location of the position will depend on the residency of the applicant.

Maynard Nexsen’s compensation includes salary, benefits, and bonus comparable to other Am Law 200 firms.
