Overview
As an Associate with the Firm's Real Estate practice group, Amy Mull utilizes her vast experience as a leader in both corporations and higher education when assisting her clients. With her excellent communication skills and unmatched work ethic, Amy approaches every matter with a commitment to providing the best possible outcome.
While attending law school, Amy gained significant legal experience working for multiple universities and government offices, including the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services' Office of General Counsel, the Wake County Attorney's Office, the University of North Carolina School of Law, and the University of North Carolina - Greensboro. Prior to earning her J.D., Amy worked at North Carolina State University in communications and chief of staff functions in the Office of the Chancellor and the Office of Finance and Administration. During her time at North Carolina State University, Amy managed multi-million-dollar budgets and developed the overarching strategic initiatives for the Finance and Administration Office.
Amy served as the Senior Brand Relations Manager on the National level of the YMCA of the USA, where she provided the strategic direction for the YMCA's national transition to a new brand and developed and delivered training to more than 2,700 YMCAs. She also served as an English Instructor at Surry Community College.
At the start of her career, Amy worked in technology communications and website and graphic design for major entities, including the United Nations, ALK Technologies, and Microsoft. She is also an entrepreneur as the founder of two companies.
Amy holds a B.A. in English and Graphic/Web Design, an M.A. in English, an MBA, and a J.D.

When away from the office, Amy enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband and children.
