Overview
Tony DellaSala is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Financial Services and Employment & Labor Practice Groups. Tony focuses his practice on defending management in a wide variety of employment matters arising under federal laws like the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other analogous state discrimination and tort laws. Tony has litigated cases across the country in state and federal courts, as well as before various administrative agencies and in arbitration forums.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Tony practiced employment & labor law at a full-service firm in Birmingham. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Cecilia M. Altonaga of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Tony earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he was a semifinalist and board member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Competition and served as the Managing Editor of the Alabama Law Review. He earned his B.S. in Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.
