Overview
Carolyn is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate & Business Transactions practice group.
During law school, Carolyn served as a summer associate for Maynard Nexsen, where she gained experience drafting a variety of documents and provisions for mergers and acquisitions deal work including independent contractor agreements, ESOP agreements, operating agreements, LLC formation documents, deeds, purchase and sale agreements, and closing schedules. She was also a summer judicial clerk for the Hon. R. David Proctor of the Northern District of Alabama.
Carolyn acts as a Spanish interpreter for various legal proceedings, verbally translating legal documents, pre-trial proceedings, mediations and other meetings for pro bono Spanish-speaking clients.
Carolyn holds a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama.
