Overview
Connor focuses his practice on tax issues associated with real estate and other corporate transactions, including qualified opportunity fund investments, like-kind exchanges under Section 1031 of the Code, affordable housing/low-income housing tax credits, and other investment funds. In his practice, he regularly drafts and negotiates joint venture agreements, partnership agreements, operating agreements, and equity investments in real estate.
Connor also devotes part of his practice to advising a broad range of tax-exempt organizations including public charities, private foundations, social welfare organizations, and other 501(c) nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Maynard, Connor was an Associate in the M&A Tax practice group at one of the Big Four accounting and professional services firms as well as an associate with a Georgia law firm.
