Overview

Erin is an Intellectual Property Patent Agent in the Firm’s Huntsville Office and is a Member of Maynard Nexsen’s Intellectual Property Practice. She assists attorneys in the IP practice by evaluating patentability, providing scientific guidance, and preparing and prosecuting patent applications.

Her technical skill set spans a broad range of fields in life sciences and engineering, including immunology, biomedical materials and devices, and molecular biology.

Erin received her Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Bioengineering from Pennsylvania State University, and her Bachelors in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to becoming a registered patent agent, she pursued industrial post-doctoral work in the field of immunology. She has demonstrated success in pursuing a U.S. patent and co-authoring nine peer-reviewed research articles.
