Overview
Harris is an Associate in the Firm’s Corporate section and a member of the Trust, Estates and Business Planning, Family Business, and Fiduciary Advisory Services practice groups.
He focuses his practice on advising clients concerning their estate and tax planning needs, including the preparation of wills, trusts, and other documents to implement plans to achieve their goals regarding tax planning, charitable giving, and wealth preservation. Harris also advises clients with respect to their business planning needs, including formation and choice of entity issues, day-to-day general counsel services, and succession and exit planning.
Harris received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he volunteered with Law Students for Innocence & Prisoner Rights and worked with the Intellectual Property & the Arts Legal Clinic. He earned his B.S. in Economics and B.S. Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where he was a Presidential Scholar and member of the Honors College. He also received the Faculty Excellence Award in Economics.
