Overview

As a member of Maynard Nexsen’s Litigation Practice Group, John defends clients in class actions, commercial business litigation, and anti-trust disputes. John also has experience in student and employment matters representing institutions of higher education as a member of the firm’s Education Practice Group. These diverse experiences empower him to succeed in a variety of litigation settings, from motion practice to depositions to evidentiary hearings.

John's goal as an attorney is to provide exceptional legal services for his clients. His client-oriented approach, deep legal insight, and ability to employ a variety of litigation tactics drive his outstanding record of client results.

Prior to joining Maynard, John worked in-house at a large, national financial institution. He is a member of the Vulcan District Boy Scout Eagle Board of Review. He previously chaired the Magic City Choral Society and is actively pursuing opportunities to bring an end to Birmingham’s food deserts.
