Overview
Jonathan is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate Securities & Tax Practice Group. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, handling a wide range of corporate matters for business clients. Jonathan has built significant experience in M&A transactions and private equity work, specializing in commercial and non-disclosure agreements.
With a joint J.D. and Master of Business Administration, Jonathan combines legal and business expertise to draft and review commercial agreements, business incorporation documents, and corporate tax documents, and advising his clients in a variety of business matters. He has experience working on large corporate mergers, managing complex deals, and providing strategic counsel.
Jonathan earned his J.D. (cum laude) and M.B.A. from Samford University and Cumberland School of Law, where he was a Junior Editor on the Cumberland Law Review, a Caruthers Fellow, a Cumberland Student Ambassador, and was named on the Dean’s List each semester in attendance. He holds a B.S. in Political Science from Troy University.
