Overview

With a background in federal government, Jordan utilizes her regulatory enforcement and compliance experience to meet clients’ immigration needs. She prepares nonimmigrant work visa petitions for companies hiring foreign nationals (L-1, O-1, H-1B, E-2, TN, R-1), employment-based immigrant visa petitions (EB-1, EB-2, EB-2 NIW, EB-3), and family-based immigrant petitions.

Jordan also assists clients with labor and employment issues, ranging from compliance with state and federal laws to best practices for human resources and management. She prepares employment policies and handbooks and advises clients with issues involving discipline and termination. Jordan represents clients in a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, information technology, financial services, healthcare, and higher education.

Prior to joining Maynard, Jordan practiced in Washington, D.C. as a Trial Attorney within the Litigation and Enforcement Division of the Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and defended the agency and its interests in proceedings before the FLRA, MSPB, and EEOC. Jordan also served in the Office of Senator Jeff Sessions.

Jordan earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and her B.A. from Auburn University.
