Overview
Joshua Holmes is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen's Complex Litigation practice group. The group represents companies in high-exposure product liability litigation. Josh's practice addresses the substantive and procedural issues confronting product manufacturers, distributors, and sellers.
Prior to joining the firm, Josh served as a law clerk to the Honorable Madeline H. Haikala of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. Before attending law school, Josh taught middle school English and History through Teach For America.
Josh received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where he was an Associate Case Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal and a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. Josh holds a B.S. in Political Science from Berea College, where he served as Executive President of Student Government.
Josh has volunteered his time with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Growing Kings, and Flight Club. Josh has also coached youth basketball, football, and soccer.
