Overview
Julia is a Partner in Maynard Nexsen’s Labor & Employment practice group.
Julia supports appellate, employment litigation and whistleblower & retaliation matters, with a focus on NLRB and EEOC charges, defense of grievances in arbitrations and sexual harassment matters. She has litigated employment law matters on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and public entities, including 42 U.S. Code Section 1983 civil rights claims.
With experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits, Julia is uniquely able to evaluate state and federal claims against employers for a successful resolution.
As an experienced trial lawyer, Julia understands the importance of building trust with her clients, investigating and discovering relevant facts and witnesses and assessing the credibility of the involved parties, representatives and potential witnesses to give her clients the best chance of success at trial.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Julia practiced labor & employment, intellectual property and commercial litigation law at specialized firms.
Julia holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she specialized in Litigation and Intellectual Property law. She earned her B.A. in Psychology & Criminal Justice from Rutgers University.

When not at work, Julia enjoys cycling, rock climbing, surfing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
