Overview
Kacey is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Litigation Practice, with a focus in the areas of environmental litigation and product liability. She has experience defending clients from a broad range of industries in product liability, toxic tort and mass tort litigation. She has substantial involvement in - and understanding of - the complex issues that often arise during the defense of cases involving allegations of asbestos exposure. Kacey has also been engaged in numerous matters requiring the negotiation of complex structured settlements.
Prior to joining the firm, Kacey was a litigation associate in Lavin, O’Neil, Cedrone & DiSipio’s New York office, where she represented Fortune 500 companies in product liability, premises liability, and labor law actions.
Kacey received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and holds a B.A. from the University of Alabama, as well.
