Overview
Kate is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Financial Services practice group, concentrating on securities-related matters and the defense of broker-dealers and other financial services professionals. She is also experienced in supporting civil and commercial litigation matters.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Kate practiced financial services law at a full-service firm in New York. She also worked for the United States Senate and a prominent government affairs firm in Washington, D.C.
Kate holds a J.D. from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and served as an editor of the Villanova Law Review. During law school, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable David R. Strawbridge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a legal writing and research teacher's assistant. Kate earned her B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Villanova University.
