Overview
Meredith is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Financial Services practice group concentrating on employment-related matters.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Meredith served as a law clerk to the Honorable R. Austin Huffaker, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama and to the Honorable Madeline H. Haikala of the Northern District of Alabama. Before law school, she joined AmeriCorps and supported nonprofit outreach efforts across eight states in the Southeast.
Meredith holds a J.D., cum laude, from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Cumberland Law Review, President of Cumberland Women in Law, and as a Representative for the Student Body Association. Meredith was also named Best Oralist Runner-Up in the Donworth 1L Moot Court Competition and CALI Scholar of Merit in Criminal Procedure II. She earned her B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, from Auburn University, where she was named Female Student Leader of the Year for 2017. While at Auburn, she served as SGA AVP of External Affairs, College of Liberal Arts Student Senator, Director of Aubie, and as President of her sorority. Meredith was also a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha honor societies.
