D. Michael Clark, Jr.

Michael is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen's Corporate & Business Transactions practice group, which assists clients ranging in size from emerging businesses to large corporations in all aspects of their legal responsibilities, strategic initiatives, and operations. Michael also works with the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions group to assist businesses, private equity firms, and venture capital investors with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other transactions.

Before law school, he was a Senior Analyst for a federal government consulting firm based in Washington, D.C.

Michael received his J.D., cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law. During law school, he served as Lead Articles Editor for the German Law Journal. He earned a B.S. with Distinction in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia, where he received the Paul B. Krebs Scholarship.
