Overview
Monica is an Associate in the Banking and Credit, and Real Estate Practice Groups representing clients in matters involving all aspects of real estate, real estate development, and commercial finance transactions. Monica works on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and acquisition financing. She also represents lenders on both real estate finance and secured financing matters.
Monica received her J.D. from the American University Washington College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Monica was an Executive Editor for the American University Business Law Review and was a Distinguished Myer’s Fellow with the Legal Rhetoric Department. She also completed a judicial internship at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia clerking for the Honorable James A. Crowell IV. She holds a B.A. in Economics & International Studies with a minor in Spanish from the University of South Carolina.
