Overview

Natasha is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Insurance practice group.

She works with the Firm's Insurance Regulatory group, supporting clients with regulatory compliance, complex financial transactions and strategic advisory services.

She supports clients with formation, licensing and withdrawals, corporate governance, investments, solvency issues, product development, reinsurance and various compliance issues.

Natasha was previously a litigator, representing health insurers in managed care litigation. She engaged in all aspects of litigation and arbitration, including drafting pleadings, participating in discovery, and taking part in settlement negotiations and mediations. Natasha has supported work relating to ERISA, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial health insurance products, including disputes sounding in breach of contract, violations of state insurance prompt pay statutes, payor/provider payment and contract rate issues. Natasha also previously acted as a coverage attorney advising insurance company clients on various insurance coverage matters, including first and third-party claims for primary and excess policies

Prior to attending law school, Natasha was a fifth-grade reading and ESL teacher.

Natasha holds a J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She earned her B.A. in History from Texas A&M University.

When not at work, Natasha enjoys comedy shows, trying new restaurants and spending time with her husband, daughter and pets.
