Overview
Sarah joined the Firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice after working for over five years in-house for a regional bank with over 10,000 employees. In her role as in-house counsel, Sarah regularly advised the human resources department on both day-to-day administration and compliance for existing employee benefits plans, and she was an integral part of planning and design for new benefit programs, including pension, 401(k), and health and welfare benefits. During that time, Sarah supported compensation teams in the design and compliance of incentive programs, including 409A compliance, and was responsible for supporting fiduciary committees, including providing compliance for plan administration and claims procedures. Sarah has first-hand experience handling all facets of a corporation’s employee benefits plans, as well as regulatory and compliance issues from the corporate perspective, particularly those in the banking and financial services sector.
With over ten years of experience in the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation area, Sarah now focuses on assisting clients in matters involving all types of qualified and non-qualified plans, health and welfare plans, and incentive compensation arrangements. She has substantial experience advising clients on complex qualified and non-qualified plans and health and welfare issues, as well as assisting clients with the day-to-day administration of qualified and non-qualified plans and health and welfare plans.
