Overview

Scott is Of Counsel in Maynard Nexsen’s Insurance practice group. 

Scott supports ERISA and employee benefits litigation and appeals, representing clients in multiple state and federal courts.

In addition to ERISA work, Scott has more than twenty years of experience as a commercial litigator, representing businesses and their owners in complex business disputes, including unfair trade practices, theft of trade secrets, employment discrimination claims, whistleblower and retaliation claims, fiduciary breaches, indemnification and contribution claims, insurance coverage, and trademark and patent infringement. 

Scott also litigates construction disputes and advises industry clients regarding payment disputes, bid protests, and prevailing wage compliance.

Scott holds a J.D. from the Emory University School of Law.
