Overview
Sean represents local, regional, and national lenders on 7a and 504 Small Business Administration loans. This includes advising them on compliance issues as well as reviewing due diligence, preparation of loan documents and overseeing the closing process. He also assists with post-closing matters and lender servicing actions.
Sean is active in the North Carolina Bar Association and has served as Chair of the Commercial Committee for the Real Property Section. His activities with civic organizations include coaching youth sports, leading property owners' associations, and service on boards and committees of various charitable and religious organizations.
As an undergrad, Sean was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a recipient of the John Motley Morehead Scholarship at the University of North Carolina. He earned his B.A. ('88) and M.B.A ('92) from UNC. He earned his law degree and masters in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in law school, he served on the Editorial Staff of The North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation.
