Overview
Terra is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Employment & Labor practice group.
Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Terra practiced in the area of general litigation. She worked extensively within the railroad industry and also represented insurers and businesses to resolve insurance disputes and employment issues.
Terra has experience counseling foreign nationals on immigration issues, including asylum and removal proceedings, before the DOJ’s Executive Office for Immigration Review. Terra has also prepared written pleadings and argued motions before immigration judges.
Before attending law school, Terra worked for three years in legal advocacy and grant writing.
Terra holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law, where she served as a Writing and Bluebook Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. She earned an M.A. in Political Science from El Colegio de Mexico. Terra obtained a B.A. in Political Science & Latin American Studies from Wellesley College.
