Will Brown

Will is an associate in the Firm’s Corporate and Business Transactions Practice. With a diverse range of experience, he regularly assists clients with mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, operational and contract-related issues.

Will is a trusted advisor to businesses of all sizes, from startups to established enterprises, providing guidance on a wide range of legal matters. He routinely drafts and negotiates key agreements for clients, including limited partnership agreements, operating agreements, purchase agreements, side letters and related commercial contracts, and restrictive covenants agreements.

Working in the timberlands sector, including with a large TIMO, Will advises clients on the acquisitions, financing, management, and dispositions of large tract timber properties. Will also actively represents registered investment adviser clients in connection with dozens of investments that such clients make each year in private equity funds, co-investment entities, and other private companies.

Separately, Will enjoys assisting clients in the climate and sustainability sector, advising on innovative solutions and strategies to reduce carbon footprints, navigate environmental credit markets, and ensure compliance with renewable energy and emissions regulations.
