Will Thorsen

Will Thorsen serves as Senior Conflicts Counsel in the Firm's Intake and Risk Management Department. As Senior Conflicts Counsel, Will is a member of the team that identifies, analyzes and resolves potential conflicts of interest and works directly with the Firm's attorneys to clear conflicts. Will analyzes conflicts reports, performs legal research, and collaborates in the development and maintenance of best practices to assist the Firm with compliance, as well as supporting the team of Analysts to ensure searches are correctly submitted, promptly run, and efficiently analyzed.

Prior to joining the firm, Will worked as Conflicts Counsel at a large national law firm performing similar duties where he advised attorneys and the General Counsel’s office on conflicts and compliance issues. Prior to working in Conflicts, Will served as a Litigation Solutions Project Manager, overseeing various E-Discovery matters including large scale data collections, document productions, database management, and user support and training in preparation for trial.

Outside Maynard Nexsen

Outside of work, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. Along with their energetic boxer, Fran, their house is full of love, life, and laughter. Will and his family are also invested in their local church, where Will serves as a deacon on the leadership team.
