Zachery L. Gillespie

Zach Gillespie is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Insurance Litigation and Appellate practice groups. Prior to joining the Firm, he clerked for the Honorable Jay Mitchell of the Alabama Supreme Court and externed with the Honorable R. David Proctor of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. He also spent a summer working for Governor Kay Ivey.

Zach is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor for the Alabama Law Review.  Prior to attending law school, he obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and worked in a Big 4 tax practice as a Certified Public Accountant.
