Overview
Jordan is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Litigation Section and works on various complex matters such as commercial business litigation and class actions. He is a Member of the Business Litigation Group, a team dedicated to representing companies, their owners, and shareholders in legal disputes involving fraud, tortious interference, securities, sales and acquisitions, trademark infringement, shareholder oppression, hostile takeovers, contracts, cryptocurrency, and brokerage fees.
In addition to his trial court practice, Jordan is a member of the Firm’s Appellate Group who works on appeals in state and federal courts around the country.
Before joining the Firm, Jordan served as a law clerk for Judge Sharon L. Blackburn of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and Justice Jay Mitchell of the Alabama Supreme Court. This experience in the state and federal court systems and at the trial and appellate court level provides Jordan with a unique perspective when advising clients throughout litigation.
Jordan earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review, Student Chapter President of the Federalist Society, and a member of the trial advocacy team. He holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in History and Political Science from the University of Alabama.
