Katie L. Robinson

Katie is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Corporate & Business Transactions practice group.

Katie brings significant corporate contracting experience to the team, having drafted and negotiated a wide range of complex commercial agreements throughout her career. She has particular expertise in agreements critical to technology and business transactions, including technology agreements such as software as a service (SaaS), end-user license agreements and service agreements tailored to comply with internal policies and regulatory obligations.

Prior to joining Maynard Nexsen, Katie spent six years as in-house corporate counsel at an employment screening services company that specializes in workplace safety and compliance. This role provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities of contract negotiation and management within a regulated environment, as well as a proven history of supporting business growth through strategic legal counsel. She is skilled in navigating complex transactions, mitigating legal risks and delivering cost-effective solutions that align with business objectives.

Katie holds a J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where she received the Scholar of Merit award in three courses. She earned her B.A. in Political Science from Jacksonville State University.
