Stewart Thames

Stewart is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s General Corporate and Mergers & Acquisition Practice Groups as well as the Complex Contracting & Technology Practice Group. The majority of his practice is devoted to representing buyers and sellers in M&A transactions, and he regularly conducts due diligence and drafts transactional agreements for a broad range of corporate and transactional matters. However, Stewart has experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of general contract matters, including commercial, construction, and real estate contracts.

Stewart also regularly serves as board counsel for public utilities, Alabama domestic public corporations, and non-profit organizations, where he advises them on business, state, and federal law matters.
