MARGARET SILLER JOINS MAYNARD'S SECURITIES LITIGATION PRACTICE IN NASHVILLE
Maynard & Gale (Maynard) is pleased to announce that Margaret “Maggie” M. Siller has joined the Firm’s Nashville office as Of Counsel in the Firm’s growing, nationally recognized Securities and Financial Services Litigation Practice.
Ms. Siller is a litigator with experience in a range of areas including complex commercial and financial disputes, public impact litigation, and class actions. Representing clients across the county, Ms. Siller’s litigation experience focuses on matters involving structured products, namely residential mortgage-backed securities (“RMBS”), where she has obtained judgments and settlements for her clients in the hundreds of millions. She has also led clients through significant public impact litigation including putative class action matters, resulting in Court-approved nationwide settlements.
“We are excited to have Maggie join our expanding team and establish a presence for our practice in Nashville,” said Peter Fruin, Chair of Maynard’s Securities and Financial Litigation Practice. “Maggie is experienced in representing national clients through class actions and other significant litigation and will be an asset to our practice.”
Ms. Siller received her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law and a Master of Education in Teaching from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa. She received a B.S. in Foreign Service, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University. Prior to joining Maynard, Ms. Siller worked for two nationally recognized law firms and most recently, the Office of the Tennessee Attorney General in its consumer protection division. Before law school, she served as a Teach For America corps member while earning her Master’s degree in education.
Earlier this year, Maynard welcomed seasoned attorneys Terry Weiss and Stefanie Wayco to its Securities and Financial Litigation Practice to lead Maynard’s newly established Atlanta, Georgia office.
