MAYNARD ADDS ATTORNEY/PHD TO TOP-RANKED PATENT LITIGATION PRACTICE
Birmingham, AL (January 11, 2021) — Maynard & Gale (Maynard) is pleased to announce that Suparna Datta has joined the Maynard Intellectual Property (IP) practice group as an Of Counsel in the Firm’s Birmingham office.
“We are excited to have Suparna join our nationwide Intellectual Property team,” said Sasha Rao, Chair of Maynard’s Intellectual Property Practice and Partner in the San Francisco office. “Suparna’s deep electrical engineering background and extensive experience in both patent litigation and prosecution make her a strong addition to the practice.”
Dr. Datta has more than ten years of experience litigating patent cases for leading international law firms, where she has successfully represented clients in both federal district courts and the International Trade Commission. She has Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and both a B.S. in electrical engineering and a B.A. in mathematics from Cornell University. She earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.
