Maynard is pleased to announce the addition of three new Associates to our Intellectual Property, Labor & Employment and Real Estate groups.

• Reave Shewmake, Associate, Labor & Employment, Huntsville
• Taylor Meek, Associate, Real Estate, Dallas

Jacqueline “Jackie” is an Associate in Maynard’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and enforcement. Relatores holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. She received her J.D. from UCLA School of Law. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for Judge Josephine L. Staton in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Relatores also served as the Chief Comments Editor for the Journal of Environmental Law & Policy and Treasurer of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Students Association.

Reave is an Associate in Maynard’s Labor & Employment Group. He works closely with the Firm’s teams of lawyers practicing in these areas of law to assist clients across the industry spectrum with all aspects of their labor, employment, and litigation matters. Shewmake received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, he participated in Moot Court, an editor for the Alabama Law Review, a member of the Christian Legal Society, treasurer of the Federalist Society, and a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society. He holds a B.A in Political Science and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Alabama.

Taylor is an Associate in Maynard’s Real Estate & Financial Services and Consumer & Commercial Finance Litigation Practice Groups. He represents borrowers and lenders in a variety of real estate financing matters. Meek also represents developers, landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers in real estate transactions involving entity and fund formation, development, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions. Meek received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. He is a Dallas native and spent a year as a visiting student at SMU Dedman School of Law, where he was a founding member of the Tax Law Society. Meek graduated cum laude from St. John’s University, as a Presidential Scholar, where he majored in History and minored in Business Administration.
