Maynard & Gale (Maynard) is excited to announce that C. William "Will" Courtney has been selected for a clerkship with Justice Clarence Thomas of the United States Supreme Court. He will serve as one of Justice Thomas's four clerks for the 2023 Term. Will earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School. While in law school, he was Managing Editor of the Journal for Law & Public Policy and Development Chairman of the Federalist Society. Will received his B.A. in Government and Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of the Virginia Men's Rowing team.

Jeff Grantham, Managing Shareholder, adds, "We are extremely proud of Will. A clerkship with the U.S. Supreme Court is quite an honor and recognition of Will's legal skills and accomplishments. Will is exemplary of the high level of associate talent that Maynard hires to serve our clients."
